The day I left Singapore, this sounds dramatic but I think I ought to take a week's long vacation to refresh and rejuvinate myself.
Well, I had a hard time getting up today. My dad woke up at 3.30am and my mum around that time also. I had to be dragged out of bed.
Shame on you Alvin. Nevertheless, I still looked forward to the trip to Seattle and Japan. Ganbatte Ne, Alvin San.
The check at Terminal 1 was kinda long, and they asked you questions. "Did you pack the back yourself?" "Are you on a business trip?"
were some of the questions. Macham like an interrogation session. Most of the eateries were closed and we had to settle at Polar
cake shop. Around 6.20 am, I checked in and was on the plane bound for Nihon.
I didn' really have a pleasant experience on the flight. The seats at United Airways are rather cramped and didn't fit most of the Americans well.
The business class did but not the economy class. There was this guy who were around 5x my size had soooo much difficulty sitting down. I slept most of
the time on the plane. Other than that, I caught Miss TODO:Congeniality and played on my gameboy advanced. After 6 hrs 20 mins of flight, I finally arrived
in Narita Airport.
Now I've bought a cup of orange juice (as usual) for 300 yen and some goodies for Yanming when I meet here at Seattle. Tune in for more later. Cya Guys ^_^
14 May 4.10 Japan Time - Narita Airport
---------------------------------------
8+ hours on the UA flight to Seattle, tired sia. Got a fair bit of lag. Got on a cab to Edgewater Hotel. Cost me US$26.
The lobby of Edgewater hotel gave me a warm cozy feeling. Took some pictures there. Then I slept till 3+ and met my poly friend Yanming and her boyfriend Kevin.
They took me to Pike's market. I initially thought that it is an open air market selling a lot of fish. But it turns out to be a 3-4 storey building selling collectibles.
Apart from that, they sell seafood, jams and flowers. I had a cone of cherry vanilla cream ice cream there. (hey where is my strict dieting plan?). After that we drove to
the University of Washington. There were having a food fare there. Lotsa Asians, gals too *wink*. I want to go back to study life. Sigh. Most of them were Taiwanese \^_^/.
I had beehoon, pork chop and dumpling soup. Yummy. After driving for some rounds in downtown, I bought a raspberry cheesecake from "The cheesecake factory" for breakfast tommorrow.
I think I shall go an zzz now. Nitez.
